Game Advert Project 2004- Example 3
In this scene I did none other than texture the foot. I used three forms of dirt/rust effects which range between texture maps and Digimation Quickdirt plug-in. The texture maps were made in the form of wet and dry mud. I simply made two blend materials. The first being a steel effect with raytracing and fall off properties which was blended with a dark desert floor map but at accordance to a simple black and white splat map. The second blend was basically the same as the previous but with a darker desert floor map, decreased tolerance on the splat map, and a bump map activated with noise on each of the splat regions. And finally I blended both of my blend materials to an even mixture. Finally I added Quickdirt to the models to give an edge-wear and dirt/rust effect.
