For
the exhaust I used the same steel and dirt textures that I made for
the knight armour in the game advert project 2004. As a reminder - the
texture map was made in the form of wet and dry mud. I simply made two
blend materials. The first being a steel effect with raytracing and
fall off properties which was blended with a dark desert floor map but
at accordance to a simple black and white splat map. The second blend
was basically the same as the previous but with a darker desert floor
map, decreased tolerance on the splat map, and a bump map activated
with noise on each of the splat regions. And finally I blended both
of my blend materials to an even mixture. Back to Self Elected Project |
